EYE & EAR PROTECTION REQUIRED WHEN BEYOND THE ROPE
SHOTGUN ACTION MUST BE OPEN AT ALL TIMES
DO NOT LOAD UNTIL YOU ARE IN THE SHOOTING STATION
ALWAYS BE AWARE OF WHERE YOUR MUZZLE IS POINTING
THE NUMBER OF SHELLS THAT CAN BE LOADED AT ONE TIME DEPENDS ON THE GUN
ONLY ONE SHELL ALLOWED IN GUN WHEN SHOOTING TRAP SINGLES
ONLY TWO SHELLS ALLOWED IN GUN WHEN SHOOTING SKEET OR TRAP DOUBLES
NO SHOT SIZE LARGER THAN 7-1/2
NO SHOT SIZE SMALLER THAN 7-1/2
NEVER GO ON TO THE FIELD PAST THE SKEET HOUSES
SHOOTING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN
ALL SHOTGUN STOCKS MUST BE FIXED AND PERMANENT. SHOTGUN BARRELS, OTHER THAN YOUTH MODELS, SHALL BE A MINIMUM LENGTH OF 22 INCHES.
AN AMMUNITION POUCH, VEST OR OTHER METHOD TO ALLOW SHOOTER ACCESS TO THEIR AMMUNITION FROM A STANDING POSITION IS REQUIRED
LOADING FROM A BOX OF AMMO ON THE GROUND IS OK.
TRAP SHOOTERS WILL NOT CLOSE THE ACTION OF THEIR SHOTGUN UNTIL IT IS THEIR TURN TO SHOOT.
ANY DUD SHELL SHALL BE KEPT IN THE POSSESSION OF THE SHOOTER OR TURNED IN TO A STAFF MEMBER FOR DISPOSAL. AT NO TIME SHELL AN UNFIRED SHELL BE PLACED IN A RECYCLING BIN OR WASTE BIN.
IN SKEET, ONCE A TARGET PASSES THE CENTER STAKE ON STATION EIGHT IT SHALL NOT BE SHOT AT.
BEFORE LOADING, CHECK FOR ORANGE SAFETY CONES ON THE TRAP HOUSES. IF THERE IS AN ORANGE CONE ON AN ADJACENT FIELD, UNLOAD AND WAIT FOR UNTIL IT IS REMOVED BEFORE SHOOTING.
OBEY ALL DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY STAFF MEMBERS.
